Customer files accepted in DXF, DWG, STEP, IGES, or PDF. Drawn and prepared in DraftSight, then nested for minimal material waste. DFM feedback provided on problematic geometry.
STAGE 02
Material selection & pull
Pulled from in-stock inventory of tier-1 supplier materials — Parker, Laird, Schlegel, Rogers, 3M, DuPont, Kerafol, Fujipoly, Henkel, Saint-Gobain. Full lot traceability maintained.
STAGE 03
Zünd digital precision cutting
OptiScout-driven Zünd XY knife cutter produces through-cuts, kiss-cuts, scoring, and perforation. Digital workflow eliminates die cost and enables rapid revisions and short-run production.
STAGE 04
Automated dimensional inspection
Keyence IM-X1540 Image Dimension Measurement System provides fast, non-contact dimensional inspection with repeatable accuracy. Documented inspection reports available on request.

Challenge
1,400 silver-aluminum filled fluorosilicone EMI gaskets at ±0.003″ tolerance, delivered in three weeks to meet a program milestone.
Solution
Stocked Parker CHO-SEAL 1215. First article in 4 days; full run with 100% Keyence dimensional inspection.
Delivered on time. Zero rejections at incoming inspection. Added to qualified vendor list for follow-on program.

EW jammer flange gasket run
Challenge
Complex flange geometry with integrated through-holes; prior supplier die-cut parts were dimensionally inconsistent, causing assembly rework.
Solution
Converted to Zünd digital cutting — eliminated die variation, held tolerance across all 240 parts per lot, enabled revisions without tooling cost.
Assembly rework reduced from 18% to under 1%. Became sole-source supplier. Extended to follow-on variants.
Uncrewed Systems OEM · High-Altitude Surveillance
Thermal gap pad for flight computer
Challenge
New flight computer required custom thermal pad geometry with six internal cutouts for component clearance. Prototype-to-production pipeline needed.
Solution
Kerafol Keratherm 86/525 converted on Zünd with kiss-cut delivery on release liner for automated pick-and-place.
Prototype delivered in 48 hours. Transitioned to production run of 2,000 units with no design changes. Now a recurring monthly order.
